Nandi Dairy Cooperative Union

The Nandi Dairy Cooperative Union is an umbrella body formed in 2016 by cooperative societies in Nandi County to address various challenges in the sector.

The top priority of the union is the procurement, processing, packaging, and

marketing of high-quality fluid milk and milk products on behalf of the members.

Our Scope

With a processing capacity of 200,000 liters per day and with 45 milk coolers with a chilling capacity of 300,000 spread all over the county, strategically to ensure maximum access to quality raw milk from Nandi finest fodder and pastures.

The NDCU has a comprehensive platform and network that provides useful linkages between our self and bringing together the thousands of our member (dairy farmers), providing them access to essential services including quality animal feeds, artificial insemination, agro vets and financial services among others.

We work closely with the farmers through a comprehensive extension network to employ best practice in ensuring reliable and quality milk supplies in addition to offering competitive pricing and staple market for their raw milk.

Our distribution depots in Nyanja Region, Western Region, Rift Valley Region and Nairobi Region supported by an elaborate distribution network and logistics ensures that our products are readily available at the doorstep of our customers. Further strategies are being developed to open depots in coast region and North Eastern region.
